General Practice Network NT Ltd (GPNNT) is the peak organisation representing general practice and primary health care across the Northern Territory, Australia, with strong capacity to shape and influence NT and national Primary Health Care policy and practices.  ‘Closing the gap’   between indigenous and non-indigenous NT health outcomes is central to GPNNT core business.

The key objectives of GPNNT are to:

  • Improve health care delivery in the Northern Territory by improving general practice and primary health care and enhancing service delivery and service integration.
  • Lead and pursue equity and access to general practice and primary health services to achieve equitable  health outcomes.
  • Co-operate and collaborate with other organisations concerned with general practice and primary health care  service delivery, education, training and research.

Information for Members

In the New Year the initial Annual General Meeting will be held.

All members with an interest in participating in the future governance of the organization are encouraged to consider nominating to become a Director of the Company. The opportunity to nominate will present prior to the AGM and will be widely advertised.
