This website has been developed by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing for doctors trained outside of Australia and Australian medical employers. The website provides a starting point for both overseas trained doctors (OTDs) who may be considering work in Australia and for employers seeking to recruit The objective is to recruit appropriately qualified doctors who have trained outside of Australia by providing an authoritative and accessible source of information on working as doctors in Australia.
