SupportSupport Programs GPNNT provides a range of support porgrams to assist with the retention of rural, remote and urban based GP's in the Northern Territory. The range of financial support includes funded site visits when a GP is considering taking up a GP position in rural or remote Northern Territory. Site Visit A relocation grant is available to assist a GP and their family to relocate to the Territory. Relocation Once here a rural or remote GP is eligible for the orientation and training grant to assist in updating or enhancing skills required for the GP position. Orientation & Training Family support weekends are an important way for GPNNT to assist GP's and their families in networking, having a break from work and meeting other rural and remote GPs and their families. This membership is free and entitles the GP to a range of membership services such as access to CPD, weekly newsletter PHaCTS and bi-monthly newsletter OCHRE.
