Nursing & Allied Health ProfessionalsNT Health Workforce as a unit of NT Medicare Local are pleased to announce the highly successful Rural Health Professionals Program (RHPP). The RHP program is funded by the Australian Government as an initiative to increase retention rates of health professionals in rural and remote locations. Employers in the Northern Territory can utilise the experienced recruitment services of the NT Health Workforce and have benefited from a completely free recruitment service which has included advertising, acting as a point of contact for enquiries, arranging interviews, assisting with relocation and orientation.
In addition, the successful employee will benefit from extensive financial support to relocate and remain working in long term positions throughout the NT. Each support package has been tailored to the individual and has included supports such as child care, spouse employment assistance, CPD and rental assistance. Health professionals that we are currently supporting include; nurses, physiotherapists, OTs, social workers, pharmacists and psychologists.
The NT is a fantastic, rewarding and very unique working environment. If you’re a nurse or allied health professional considering a position in the Territory or an employer with a nursing or allied health professional vacancy please contact Sally Martin on 08 8982 1007 or rhpp@ntml.org.au
